Called is for students across the country who are exploring a possible call to ministry. We want to connect students to top ministry leaders from around the country, other students who share this call to ministry, as well as top universities. We want to help open the doors of possibility for you and the call you are feeling! Come join us!

Travel Arrangements:
If you are flying please plan to arrive at OKC airport by 4pm Tuesday, June 17. IA will arrange your transportation from the airport to campus, just plan to meet us outside baggage claim.
You will need to depart after 12pm on Friday, June 20th to fly home.
If you are driving please arrive at MACU by 5pm Tuesday, June 17 and follow the signs to locate registration.

Why is it free?
We believe in this. We see God working in this next generation and we want to support all of these high school students who have experienced a call to ministry. So we’ve done the hard work of finding donors who also believe in your student. It’s because of their generosity that we are able to offer a safe and high quality event and all you have to worry about is the transportation cost. We do ask that youth pastors outside of the Intern Academy network cover the $60 cost for their meals.
Is there anyone who will be watching out for my kid?
Each student will be assigned to a group of peers with one or more background checked adult leaders. These leaders will be staying in the hall of the dorm with students. In addition, Mid America Christian University has the local Sheriff’s office on site, providing an extra level of safety and security.
What does housing look like?
Called will be on the campus of Mid America Christian University in Oklahoma City. All youth pastors, Intern Academy leadership, and students will be staying on campus in their dorms. Please remember to pack bedding and towels, as these will not be provided.
Can parents come too?
Parents are welcome to come with their students, however, for security reasons, we do ask that you stay off site at a local hotel. If you would like to join us for meals on campus, we do ask you to cover the $60 cost for meals through the parent registration. You are welcome to sit in on the main sessions, however, we ask that you give your student space to engage in the discussion groups.
What’s in it for Intern Academy?
For years, we’ve seen an increase in pastors leaving ministry and a decline in those rising up to fill that gap. We see God moving in this next generation and we want to do our part to support these students, whether they decide to serve in ministry or lead in another field. What’s in it for us? Seeing God’s kingdom expand.
What will my student get out of being there?
Students who attend Called will receive training in leadership, service, mentoring, and soul care. Beyond the quality training they will receive, they will also get the chance to make connections with other high school students from across the country who feel the way they do.
Is this event only for the Church of God?
Nope! This is for all of our high school students who feel called to ministry. Although Intern Academy has its roots in the Church of God (Anderson) movement, we partner with many different churches and organizations from across denominations.
