Nathanael Lyon

Hope Community Church

Nathanael has been serving as the Lead Pastor of Hope Community Church in Niles, MI since the fall of 2020. He has a passion for helping people practice the way of Jesus and modeling their lives after Christ's. Nathanael loves being a coach and knows that coaching is a part of his God given calling. He has a passion for pursuing Christ in all things.

Before serving at Hope Community Church, Nathanael was the Pastor of Student Ministries at Salem Church of God in Clayton, OH for 7 years. Before entering full time ministry, Nathanael received his bachelor's degrees in Education and History from Anderson University in 2012.  He had the privilege of serving as a volunteer, and graduating as an Intern Academy Intern from Madison Park Church of God in Anderson, IN.

Outside of ministry, Nathanael has been married to his amazing wife, Kimmi, since 2013, and they have two incredible sons, Ezra and Asher.  He loves movies, music, Seattle sports (Go Hawks!), and playing basketball.
